Walking through snowy Tower Grove Park in St. Louis, MO at night
Early morning dog walk in Tower Grove Park. At 15º F it was pretty chilly, but I bundled up pretty well and was warm the whole time.
A good trick I figured out for taking long exposure pictures in the snow is to take a glove, put it on the snow and rest the camera on it. This protects the camera from direct contact with the snow and also gives a handy solid base to get a steady shot.

Finished uploading pictures from my trip to China (859 in total)
Here are some of my favorite pictures from my April 2007 trip to visit my good friend Damon and his family in China. They live in Guangzhou in Guangdong province. I arrived in Hong Kong, then traveled on to Guangzhou. We took a quick day trip to Macau, then a week-long vacation trip to visit Wulingyuan National Park in Hunan province (the first National Park ever created in China). After we got back to Guangzhou it was soon time for me to begin my return trip back to St. Louis, Missouri, USA, by way of Hong Kong to Seoul, Korea to Chicago and then finally back to St. Louis.

St. Louis Art Museum pictures and video

I made this video with my new camera (Canon SD800-IS) tonight at the St. Louis Art Museum. There was a show called “Art in Bloom” going on and we went with Kathy for dinner and to see a jazz singer.
