Starting on the first of a series of paintings of favicons
Websites have tiny small 16×16 pixel icons, called favicons. I am fascinated by them, and have created many for different client websites. I have an idea to paint them, blown up to canvas-size, a series that explores bringing tiny ephemeral digital pictures to life.
The first one is a painting of my personal favicon. It is a space invader.
