New dessert I created: Peach on the Beach
Very tasty:
1. Grill 1 peach half on grill till lightly caramelized on both sides.
2. Cook 1/2 fresh peach slices, handful of dried cherries in rum, cooking off the alcohol until it forms a syrupy consistency. Add pinch of brown sugar, salt, capful of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg.
3. Serve sliced peaches, cherries over grilled peach.
4. Enjoy and start thinking about being on the beach somewhere.
In the future I would serve this in a bed of cream or with ice cream.
