Graphic Designer Jokes Jan 16 2008
After going through some of the many viola jokes with my good friend Dmitri (who plays both the violin and occasionally, when he is about to die of starvation, a viola as well), he asked if there were any web designer or graphic designer jokes. I guess the only one actually is this page returned by Google:
‘Did you mean: “graphic designer jobs”‘

Donors Flocking To $50,000 Facebook Contest To Help Save Endangered Frogs In Children’s Eternal Rainforest Jan 10 2008
Looks like the Children’s Eternal Rainforest Cause group is getting some attention:
Online social networking site Facebook.com is hosting a contest in partnership with The Case Foundation — the Causes Giving Challenge — that will award $50,000 to the non-profit organization that attracts the most individual donors over a 50-day period ending February 1, 2008. Out of over 50,000 individual registered Causes, one has been recently getting a lot of attention — the Children’s Eternal Rainforest. Only days after joining the contest, this group has rapidly risen to become the only environmental organization represented in the top 50 contest leaders.

Click here for the donation page if you’re interested in supporting the Children’s Eternal Rainforest in its goal to win the additional $50,000 prize.
This chart reflects how many individual donations were needed for each day of the week to win the daily $1,000 prize for the most individual donors. It looks like, in general, weekends are good days to focus on. The fewest number of donors that has won so far was 32. The highest was 151.
Hopefully we’ll be able to win at least one of the daily $1,000 prizes in the next 26 days.
How to help the Children’s Eternal Rainforest in Costa Rica get $1,000 for $10 right now. Jan 4 2008
It’s super simple: Click this link, then join the Facebook Causes group for Monteverde Conservation League and donate any amount.
Right now, if we can get another 7 donors in the next 22 hours the Children’s Eternal Rainforest will get $1,000 for free. So your tax-deductible $10 donation could help save another $1,000 worth of rainforest in Costa Rica.
Check it out, and give a little if you can:
